Only one year after having introduced the Evo 3, Polini already present a new version.

The basic features have been kept: coated aluminium cylinder with T-shaped exhaust port and 6 transfer ports, all in a proven design.

The exterior, however, has been completely revamped, with a round shape and side cooling pockets.

The cylinder comes with a one-piece head, which saves cost and is still reliable.

****Due to the new manifold with three connection points, not all exhaust systems can be used.

The bore is still 47.6 mm so the 70cc limit on most racing tracks won't be exceeded.

Depending on the carburettor and the other components used with the cylinder, you can expect performance to be in the region of 20 to 23 hp.

******Attention, this cylinder must be used with a crankshaft with 85mm connecting rod.

PVL have supplied their hardware, we have contributed the software, i.e. the two selectable ignition curves, based on years of experience in circuit and drag racing and with dyno runs.

MACH-1 TEAM PIPE

It all began a few years ago, HOT QUADS RACING's engine program began testing and trying all available exhaust on the market in search of a suitable match for their "latest technology" engines, that utilize the most advanced racing cylinders from Europe. Nothing was found to perform at the standard we expect from our engines.

In 2007, we began an extensive research program in order to create the ultimate 70cc & 90cc mini quad exhaust, designed to perform specifically with the ultra-high-performance cylinders, such as: 2-Fast, Polini, Malossi, and Stage6 R/T. The quest was to produce an exclusive, full race, custom pipe for mini quad racing.

Our research proved that 70cc & 90cc engines would each require a special pipe to acheive optimal performance. No "one size fits all" would be considered for our project ! Our Pipes were designed, built and tested before their chance to be proven on th track, then tweaked and tuned until the expected performance was acheived. We are confident that the MACH-1 exhaust is the best available pipe on the market. All MACH-1 exhausts are custom made and hand built. Specify 70cc or 90cc.

MACH-1 has recently teamed up with the european exhaust builder "ROOST", as of fall 2009 they are the official custom fabricators of our latest edition of the MACH-1 exhaust called "Top Gun". "ROOST" is recognized world wide as the premier 2-stroke pipe builder. HOT QUADS RACING has agreed to be the exclusive distibutor in the U.S. for all other "ROOST" products as well.
